30 Jahre „Fun Not Respect“ von NNP (NewNoiseProject) – das muss gebührend gefeiert werden. Anlässlich ihrer bereits ausverkauften Jubiläums-Show (14.11.2026, Studio 30, Saarbrücken) veröffentlicht Barhill Records erstmals die vier Album der saarländischen Melodycore-Band digital.
Ihr Debüt „Fun Not Respect“ brachte im März 1996 das kurzlebige Saarbrücker Label Caesar Records, hinter dem die Macher des Plattenladens Rex Rotari standen, heraus. Dort folgte auch ein Jahr später das zweite Album „Branded“ (September 1997). Nach einer längeren Pause meldeten sich NNP (NewNoiseProject) mit ihrem dritten Album „The Difficulty Of Definition“ (April 2002) via Dead Serious Recordings zurück. Dann dauerte es sogar bis zum 06.06.2012, ehe über NKRC Records ihr viertes und bislang letztes Album „We Are Part Of You“ herauskam. Bis dato gab es ihre Songs nur auf CD (oder eben live) zu hören, nun sind sie endlich auch digital erhältlich. An dieser Stelle ein großes Danke an die damaligen Labels, die dem allesamt zugestimmt haben.
NNP (NewNoiseProject) wurden im Jahr 1992 in Völkingen gegründet. Ihr melodischer Punk-Hardcore-Mix wurde u.a. mit solch renommierten Bands wie Millencolin, Lagwagon, NOFX, Pennywise, Boysetsfire, Samiam, Polar Bear Club oder A Wilhelm Scream verglichen. Die Band tourte u.a. mit Fudge Wax, Venerea und Bad Habits.

30 years of „Fun Not Respect“ by NNP (NewNoiseProject) – that calls for a proper celebration. To mark their already sold-out anniversary show (14 November 2026, Studio 30, Saarbrücken), Barhill Records is releasing the four albums by the Saarland-based melodycore band digitally for the first time.
Their debut, „Fun Not Respect“, was released in March 1996 by the short-lived Saarbrücken-based label Caesar Records, run by the owners of the Rex Rotari record shop. Their second album, „Branded“, followed a year later (September 1997) on the same label. After a lengthy hiatus, NNP (NewNoiseProject) returned with their third album, „The Difficulty Of Definition“ (April 2002) via Dead Serious Recordings. It then took until 6 June 2012 for their fourth and, to date, final album, „We Are Part Of You“, to be released via NKRC Records. Until now, their songs had only been available on CD (or live), but they are finally available digitally as well. At this point, we would like to say a big thank you to the record labels of the time, all of whom agreed to this.
