„Misanthropie“ is the first single from the Disso!ver debut „Lagerkoller“. Behind this neo-krautrock/experimental project is the Cologne-based multi-instrumentalist Roman Biewer, who is also the frontman of The Lo-Fi Fair. The all-rounder sings and plays guitar as well as bass and synthesizer, records, writes lyrics, arranges, produces and is responsible for the mix.

The song „Misanthropie“ is a collage, not entirely free of irony, about discomfort with people – others, but also oneself. The music emerged from a jam with Michael Drummer of Camera in January 2020 in Berlin; he contributed the basic tracks in the form of rhythm guitars and drums. Under the impression of the first Covid19 lockdown in spring 2020, Biewer then wrote the lyrics at home in Cologne and added lead guitar, various synthesizers and the vocals to the track in his home studio, arranged and mixed it.

„Lagerkoller“ will be released exclusively via the Barhill Records store, the Disso!ver Bandcamp page, at Rex Rotari (Saarbrücken), in some Cologne record stores and at Flight13 Mailorder on black vinyl (180g) on 13.08.2021. At the same time Barhill Records will release the digital version; a purely instrumental digital version of the album will be available exclusively at the Barhill Records store and the Disso!ver Bandcamp page.
