„Surrounded By Trees“ ist ein intensiver Trip durch Dunkelheit und Erlösung. Die neue EP des Quartetts gleichen Namens erzählt von Schmerz, Zweifel und der Suche nach Hoffnung. SURROUNDED BY TREES ist eine vierköpfige Band aus Saarbrücken, bestehend aus Peter, Timo, Steve und Olli, die seit über zehn Jahren gemeinsam musizieren. Ihre Musik ist geprägt von Einflüssen aus Post-Punk, Post-Rock, Indie und dem Emo der 1990er Jahre. Ihre Songs sind wie ein Spaziergang durch dichte Wälder – mal lichtdurchflutet und hoffnungsvoll, mal düster und verloren zwischen hohen, rauschenden Baumkronen. Wie das Gefühl, tief im Wald zu stehen und eins mit der Umgebung zu werden, lassen ihre Melodien und Texte Raum für Reflexion, Weite und Sehnsucht. Mit jeder neuen Veröffentlichung verfeinern sie ihren Sound und erschaffen Klanglandschaften, die sowohl verwurzeln als auch mitreißen.

Between rage and melancholy reflection, the songs fight their way through the abysses of our own world of thoughts, right up to the turning point: the realization that change is possible.
SURROUNDED BY TREES is a four-piece band from Saarbrücken, consisting of Peter, Timo, Steve and Olli, who have been making music together for over ten years. Their music is characterized by influences from post-punk, post-rock, indie and the emo of the 1990s. Their songs are like a walk through dense forests – sometimes flooded with light and hopeful, sometimes gloomy and lost between high, rustling treetops. Like the feeling of standing deep in the forest and becoming one with the surroundings, their melodies and lyrics leave room for reflection, expansiveness and longing. With each new release, they refine their sound and create soundscapes that are both rooted and captivating.
