Heute erscheint „Reckless Memories“, das neue Album von THE SEXY DRUGS. Mit ihrem ersten Album, das als Quartett entstanden ist, konnten sie erstmals ihre Live-Energie einfangen. Es ist ein Album über verpasste Chancen, alte Gefühle und neue Schwierigkeiten und Probleme. Es handelt von all diesen Hochs und Tiefs in unserem Leben. Es ging den vier Musikern darum, als Band zu wachsen, obwohl zeitgleich die Welt zu kollabieren scheint. Eskapismus als letzte Chance. Oder anders gesagt: Rock’n’roll ist die Antwort. Zumindest teilweise. Und Liebe sowieso. Mehr Liebe, weniger Hass.

Today sees the release of „Reckless Memories“, the new album from THE SEXY DRUGS. With their first album, which was created as a quartet, they were able to capture their live energy for the first time. It’s an album about missed opportunities, old feelings and new difficulties and problems. It’s about all the ups and downs in our lives. The four musicians wanted to grow as a band, even though the world seems to be collapsing at the same time. Escapism as a last chance. Or to put it another way: rock’n’roll is the answer. At least in part. And love anyway. More love, less hate.
