Please welcome: CADAVRE DE SCHNAPS

„For fans of DIY indie music that may not be perfect but is definitely made with blood sweat and tears.“ (24OurMusic)

Barhill Records has signed the indie band CADAVRE DE SCHNAPS. The contact to the Cologne band was made by Roman Biewer aka Disso!ver, a man with a fine ear. CADAVRE DE SCHNAPS move musically between the poles of indie rock, post punk, art rock, pop and dada. They have already released two DIY albums: „Let Bad Things Happen“ (Nov. 2015) and „Comedy“ (Mai 2019). Now the next step follows: a contract with Barhill Records and Edition Barhill Records / MMP.Mute.Music.Publishing E.K..

On March 25, 2022 Barhill Records will release the EP „Unlearning By Doing“ digitally and on CD thru Cargo Records. The five songs of the almost 20-minute EP evoke associations with experimental to poppy indie sounds of the 80s and 90s and captivate with their playful infatuation and complexity. More on this follows soon; here are already some older press reviews:

„For fans of DIY indie music that may not be perfect but is definitely made with blood sweat and tears.“ (24OurMusic)

„Here, in the crackling tension between raw dilettantism and obvious musical savvy, DIY is presented in top form.“ (City Review)

„After all, DIY doesn’t come across this high quality and playful too often.“ (Trvelove)
