Poisoned Speed gibt es nun schon seit fast einem Jahr. In dieser kurzen Zeit haben sie drei Demos und eine Compilation namens „Quick And Dirty“ veröffentlicht. Im August spielten sie ihre ersten Live-Shows. Um den ersten Jahrestag von Poisoned Speed zu feiern, wird Barhill Records eine digitale Live-EP namens „Live And Greasy“ veröffentlichen.
Aufgenommen beim Wild Boar War’s Festival III in Frankfurt und gemischt und gemastert von David Saia, enthält die EP vier Tracks von „Quick And Dirty“ und einen brandneuen Song namens „Knife Gang“. Roh und ungeschliffen, keine Overdubs, kein Bullshit. Eine authentische Aufnahme ihres zweiten Gigs, für diejenigen, die nicht dabei sein konnten. Eine Feier der Rückkehr der Live-Shows und des Rock ’n‘ Roll selbst.
Die EP wurde heute veröffentlicht, genau ein Jahr nachdem sie ihr erstes Demo veröffentlicht hatten. Die digitale EP gibt es auf der Bandcamp-Seite der Band und auf allen anderen Streamingdiensten, die wiederum von Barhill Records betreut werden. Eine limitierte Kassette ist in Zusammenarbeit mit Unchained Tapes erhältlich.
Poisoned Speed have been around for almost a year now. In that short period of time they’ve released three demos and a compilation called “Quick And Dirty”. In August 2021 they played their first live shows with additional new member Chris on guitar. To celebrate Poisoned Speed’s first anniversary Barhill Records releases the live EP “Live And Greasy”. Recorded at Wild Boar War’s Festival III in Frankfurt and mixed and mastered by David Saia, the EP contains 4 tracks from “Quick And Dirty” and a brand new song called “Knife Gang”, which you can hear in this video.

The EP was released today, exactly one year after they dropped their first demo. It’s a digital release on the band’s Bandcamp page and on all other streaming services, once again handled by Barhill Records. A limited cassette tape is available in collaboration with Unchained Tapes.
