RIO RAINER veröffentlicht mit „The Odyssey“ die dritte Single aus seiner digitalen Debüt-EP „Pink Punker“ (18.07.2025). „Der Song behandelt auf eine leicht humoristische Art die viel zu komplizierte Heimreise von einem meiner besten Freunde und Mitmusiker. Dieser schlief in der Bahn ein, verfehlte sein Ziel deutlich und sah sich gezwungen, mit dem nächsten Zug wieder zurück zu fahren. Tragischerweise schlief er erneut ein, fuhr bis ans andere Ende des Saarlandes und stieg dort desillusioniert und resigniert in ein Taxi, welches ihn in den Morgenstunden wohlbehalten und um einige hundert Euro ärmer nach Hause brachte“, grinst Rio Rainer, der als Mitglied der SIDEWALK SURFERS bekannt ist.

RIO RAINER releases „The Odyssey“, the third single from his digital debut EP „Pink Punker“ (18.07.2025). „The song deals in a slightly humorous way with the far too complicated journey home from one of my best friends and fellow musicians. He fell asleep on the train, clearly missed his destination and was forced to take the next train back. Tragically, he fell asleep again, travelled to the other end of our state Saarland and, disillusioned and resigned, got into a taxi, which brought him home safe and sound in the early hours of the morning, several hundred euros poorer,“ grins Rio Rainer, who is known as a member of the SIDEWALK SURFERS.
