Das Instrumental-Doom Metal/Postrock-Duo GEMINI ONE hat bei Barhill Records unterschrieben und wird am 20.09.2019 das Minialbum „Per Aspera“ (4 Songs, 32 Minuten) als 12-Inch (farbiges Vinyl mit Download Code) und digital veröffentlichen.
Gemini One, aus Saarbrücken und Ludwigsburg, wurde 2009 von Mathias Rudolph (Gitarre, Schlagzeug) und Tobias Schmitt (Bass) gegründet. Nach drei EPs und nachdem die Band zwischenzeitlich zu Rudolps Soloprojekt mutiert war, begannen er und Schmitt Anfang 2018 die Band zu reaktivieren und zu zweit neues Material aufzunehmen. So entstand die EP „Per Aspera“, die noch die musikalischen Ursprünge der Band offenbart, aber auch deutliche Postrock-Einflüsse. Der Pre-order für die 12-Inch startet demnächst.
The instrumental doom metal/postrock duo GEMINI ONE has signed to Barhill Records und will release its EP „Per Aspera“ (4 songs, 32 minutes) on the 20th of September 2019 as 12-Inch (coloured vinyl with download code) and digitally.
The German band Gemini One (from Saarbrücken and Ludwigsburg) was founded in 2009 by Mathias Rudolph (guitar, drums) and Tobias Schmitt (bass). After three EPs and after the band mutated to Rudolph’s solo project, he and Schmitt got together again at the beginning of 2018 and recorded new songs as a duo. These recordings became the EP „Per Aspera“, which displays their musical roots as well as postrock influences. The pre-order for the 12-inch vinyl starts soon.
