Heute präsentieren wir das zweite Video von CADAVRE DE SCHNAPS – dieses Mal zum Song „Spilled Milk“. Es wurde aus Sequenzen der ersten „Felix The Cat“-Cartoons zu einem surrealen Bilderfluss zusammengesetzt.
Musikalisch bietet der Song in der Strophe mit seinem geachtelten Bass und der dissonant aufgelösten Gitarre eine klare Hommage an Weezers „Sweater Song“, während im Refrain dann eher in verspielteren Pavement-Gefilden gewildert wird. Kurzum: 90ies-Euphorie galore mit einer Extraportion Slacker-Swag!

Today, we present you the second video by CADAVRE DE SCHNAPS – this time for the song „Spilled Milk“. It was put together from sequences of the first „Felix The Cat“ cartoons to a surreal flow of images.
Musically, the song offers a clear homage to Weezer’s „Sweater Song“ in the verse, with its eight-note bass and dissonantly dissolved guitar, while the chorus is poached in more playful Pavement realms. In short: 90ies euphoria galore with an extra portion of slacker swag!
