Die SIDEWALK SURFERS aus Saarbrücken veröffentlichen heute eine selbstbetitelte 4-Track-EP. Zugleich kündigen sie ihr neues Album an. Das erscheint im Frühjahr 2024 in Eigenregie und wird von Barhill Records/Cargo Records vertrieben.
Auf den Tracks der EP lässt die Vierer-Kombo den rissigen Asphalt des Hometown-Skateparks hinter sich und präsentiert stattdessen einen Soundtrack zu Road Movie und Klassenkampf. Mit „Atomic Rain“, „So Yeah!“ „ADHD“ und „Disobey“ fangen die SIDEWALK SURFERS den doomigen Zeitgeist ein und zelebrieren dennoch den letzten Schluck aus der Calippo Cola.
Die EP erscheint digital auf allen Streaming-Plattformen über die Band selbst. Verlegt wird diese von der Edition Barhill Records / MMP.Mute.Music.Publishing E.K.

The SIDEWALK SURFERS from Saarbrücken (Germany) drop a self-titled 4-track EP today. At the same time they announce their new album. it album will be released in spring 2024 by the band themselves and will be distributed by Barhill Records/Cargo Records.
On the EP tracks, the four-piece combo leaves the cracked asphalt of the hometown skate park behind and instead presents a soundtrack to road movies and class warfare. With „Atomic Rain,“ „So Yeah!“ „ADHD“ and „Disobey,“ SIDEWALK SURFERS capture the doomy zeitgeist while still celebrating the last sip from the Calippo Cola.
