Wegen der Coronapandemie und deren Nachwirkungen auf die Musikindustrie ist es jedes Jahr immens schwer geworden, am Ende eine schwarze Zahl zu schreiben. Von daher ein großes Danke an jeden, der im Barhill Records Webshop bestellt (hat). Denn von Streams kann Barhill Records NICHT überleben. Und ab nächstem Jahr sieht es mit den digitalen Einnahmen dank der jüngsten Entscheidungen von Spotify noch düsterer aus. Due to the corona pandemic and its after-effects on the music industry, it has become immensely difficult every year to end up in the black. So a big thank you to everyone who (has) ordered from the Barhill Records webshop. Because Barhill Records can NOT survive on streams. And from next year onwards, thanks to Spotify’s recent decisions, things will look even bleaker in terms of digital revenue.
